I am the fourth of ten children. My father, Charles W. Daley, was an attorney, and my mother, Shirley J. Daley, was a guidance counselor, homemaker, and Lima City Councilwoman.
I am a life long Lima resident, am married to Kathleen Rhine Daley, have two stepsons, Matthew and Scott, and my son Sean and daughter Shannon. I am a proud alumni of Ohio State University, from which my wife also graduated, and of the University of Notre Dame, where my daughter is currently attending.
My areas of law practice are Business Law, Real Estate Law, Estate Planning, Wills and Trusts, Probate and Estates, Bankruptcy, Landlord/Tenant. I am the President of First Lima Title Agency, Inc., and a title insurance agent with First American Title Insurance. I am active in the Allen County Bar Association, having served as President in 2018, and am currently Chairman of the Certified Grievance Committee and serve on the Executive Committee. I am also a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, and serve on the Real Property Section Council.
I am a professional trombonist, retired from the Lima Symphony and Lima Area Concert Band, and still play occasionally. I currently sing with the Lima Symphony Chorus and with the Life Teen Praise Band at St. Charles Catholic Church. I also taught high school German at Lima Central Catholic High School for fifteen years.
